What is PMI®?
Founded in 1969, PMI® is the worlds leading not-for-profit project management
professional association, with over 200,000 members in more than 125 countries.
What is the Project Management Professional Certification Program?
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) is a globally recognized credential
of choice for numerous industries and companies. Those granted the PMP®
credential must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional development
and acquire 60 Professional Development Unit (PDU) every three years by
participating in project management training courses and other opportunities.
What is CES & SkillSoft's affiliation?
CES is a provider of SkillSoft project management training courses. SkillSoft
is a PMI® Charter-Global Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), Provider
#1008. Through this appointment, SkillSoft has been recognized as a provider of
project management certification courses.
We provide materials for our project management courses that align with the
Project Management Body of Knowledge ( PMBOK® Guide). These PMBOK® aligned
titles can be used toward the contact hour requirement, which is a prerequisite
to sit for the Project Management Certification Exams (35 contact hours for
PMP®.)
What does PMBOK® aligned mean?
The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) is PMI®'s
standards document that includes generally accepted knowledge and practices of
project management. It is approved as an American National Standard (ANS) by
the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a project management
standard.
How do I obtain my Certificate of Completion for PDU?

Individuals seeking PDU credit must be a CES client taking SkillSoft project
management courses

Provide a printed learner progress report of successful completion of a project
management training course with a test score of at least 70%. The progress
report should include student name, course title, course number, date
completed, and test score

Provide an evaluation form for the project management certification course taken for
each title seeking PDU (found
here)

Submit the learner progress report and required evaluation form for each
project management certification course
